This Is The Only Person On Earth To Ever Out-Smoke Snoop Dogg
Props to this musical legend, because this is the only person on Earth to ever out-smoke Snoop Dogg, according to the hip-hop star. Snoop recently shared the nugget of pot culture trivia on an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on April 5. During the spot, Kimmel told Snoop about a recent visit to the talk show from actor and director Seth Rogan. When that conversation turned to cannabis, Kimmel had asked Rogan who should be on a Mount Rushmore of marijuana icons.
Then Kimmel posed the same question to Snoop Dogg.
The “Time-Out Button”
“I would put Bob Marley, Cheech and Chong…” Snoop began.
Kimmel then mentioned that he thought the famous comedy duo might not warrant inclusion on the hypothetical monument anymore.
“I feel like they’ve strayed from the mountain,” the talk show host pointed out.
But Snoop wasn’t having any of it.
“But they’re the first faces on the mountain, though. They’re the ones that showed us where the mountain was!” he exclaimed.
“You’re right,” Kimmel agreed. “Willie Nelson has to be on the mountain,” he then offered.
Snoop agreed whole-heartedly.
“Oh, Willie P. Nelson is definitely on there!”
And that’s when he made the big reveal about the only person on Earth to ever out-smoke Snoop Dogg.
“Oh, and by the way, Willie Nelson is the only person who’s ever out-smoked Snoop Dogg,” the rapper said to Kimmel.
“I believe that,” Kimmel said while laughing.
“I had to hit the time-out button,” Snoop continued. “Time out!”
“Had you ever hit that button before?” the host asked.
“Never, never,” Snoop replied, shaking his head.
Snoop Drops Gospel Album
Snoop also took the opportunity to talk about his new album while he was on the show. He released the gospel record Bible of Love last month. He told Kimmel that the time was right for a different musical perspective.
“My whole life I was raised up in church. I was brought up in the church. And the world that we’re living in right now– with all this negativity and violence– I just wanted to make something to represent peace, love, and happiness, and to use my platform.”
Snoop Dogg also told Kimmel that he got his start as a performer in church.
“In my church, we had certain things that we would do that were like plays. We would reenact certain African-American historians like George Washington Carver and Frederick Douglass. And they would teach us how to act and sing and perform in our church. It was like a little school for talent for us in church, to learn about God and learn how to be performers at the same time.”
Final Hit: This Is The Only Person On Earth To Ever Out-Smoke Snoop Dogg
After talking about the new gospel album, Kimmel asked Snoop for his vision of heaven.
“I think Heaven is a beautiful place. I think it’s happiness, I think it’s no diseases, no violence. It’s just forever life and everybody loving each other and trying to get to the next day. That’s my vision of heaven.”
“Do you think they have pot in heaven?” Kimmel asked.
“I know they do,” Snoop replied with conviction.
