Hash:
More commonly found in Europe and Asia, hashish is made up of the cannabis’ plant’s trichomes which produce the cannabinoids and terpenes found in each strain. When the trichomes are separated and collected, they are called kief. The kief collected is then processed into one of the different types of hashish. The hash can usually be smoked or eaten to experience its effects.
Live Resin:
Live resin is produced by flash freezing a freshly harvested cannabis plant at extremely low temperatures. Because it is frozen so quickly, the live resin captures more complete cannabinoid and terpene profiles, providing more efficient results.
Shatter:
Shatter is just one of the many forms of marijuana concentrate produced by extracting cannabinoids like THC and CBD from the cannabis plant. It’s named “shatter” because once cooled, it becomes sort of like rock candy and will shatter into pieces when dropped. It is considered one of the most potent type of extracts that are currently available.
Tinctures:
Cannabis tinctures are basically solutions of marijuana infused alcohol. This method is very popular as it allows for the cannabis to be quickly absorbed into one’s bloodstream and doesn’t require one to inhale any smoke or vapors making it easy on your lungs.
Wax:
Marijuana wax was aptly named for its very wax-like appearance, appearing thick and oily with a consitency reminiscent of honey. It is made by packing marijuana buds in a tube and heating it with the use of butane. This process extracts the THC from the marijuana in a super-concentrated form that can be extremely hallucinagenic.
