The state licensing application period in Michigan starts on December 15. But those who hope to enter the legal cannabis industry might not have to wait that long.

While it’s not the same thing as a state license, the Medical Marihuana Licensing Board may take local permits and approval into consideration when deciding whether to approve or deny someone’s application for a state license.
