Also set to appear are film icons and avid cannabis enthusiasts Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes who will be recording a live edition of of their smash comedy SModcast, “Jay & Silent Bob Get Old” where the pair wax philosophical about being aging stoners in Hollywood. Part of the festivities will also include honoring country music legend and cannabis lover Willie Nelson during a special ceremony that will be held on Sunday, the 16th from 3pm to 4:30 pm.

Originally organized back in 2003, the Emerald Cup was conceived as a way to promote the idea of organic and sustainable cultivation of some of the finest sun-grown organic cannabis on the planet and has rightfully earned a solid reputation as one of the most famous, largest, as well as most respected cannabis competitions in the world. Tim Blake, Founder and Producer of the Emerald Cup said: “With the Cup just around the corner, this year’s lineup continues to expand into what has become a diverse group of highly respected musicians…We’re also proud to welcome so many talented individuals joining our roster of speakers, glass artists and vendors, and hope that every single one of our festival attendees can take advantage of all the resources we’ve made available for both cannabis enthusiasts and newcomers alike.” about this year’s festival.
