Snack attack: New Jersey cops bust illegal op selling infused dog biscuits and pot pretzels

HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. — New Jersey police say a tripped smoke alarm led them to uncover a marijuana operation that offered over $900,000 worth of marijuana-laced products — including pot pretzels and cannabis-infused dog biscuits.
Hightstown Police responded to a report of a fire last week, only to find a strong smell of marijuana at the scene. NJ.com reports authorities returned the next day with a warrant and busted up a marijuana operation that dealt a number of products.
The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said Wednesday officials seized 80 bulk pounds of marijuana and about $2,500 in cash, alongside the products.

Also recovered were 3,489 bottles of what the prosecutor’s office described as “high-grade, designer marijuana.”
Investigators arrested a 46-year-old Millstone man identified as an operator of an online marijuana store.
